The hand of a medical illustrator, the discipline of a master technician.

Chad Loughery is a tattoo artist working out of a private studio in Delray Beach, FL. This website is his working portfolio and appointment portal — a curated specimen room of custom black & grey tattooing, and a direct line for clients who want to request a consultation. It exists to give prospective collectors a clear, honest look at the work before they ever sit in the chair.

Chad brings a rare background to skin. Trained in medical illustration, he approaches the body with the same precision an anatomist brings to a textbook plate: clean line weight, deliberate shading, and a respect for the structures underneath. Two decades in, his work reads like graphite on bone — high-contrast, readable, and built to age well rather than blur away.

The studio is for people who want a single, considered piece rather than a wall of flash. If you are planning a memorial, a cover-up, a sleeve built one panel at a time, or a small first tattoo you want done right, you are in the right place. Every appointment begins with a conversation about reference, placement, and the story behind the idea — never a transactional flash pick.

This site is built and maintained by Chad and his studio in Delray Beach, Florida. The gallery is updated as new work heals and is photographed, and every inquiry submitted through the consultation form is read personally. No bots, no booking agencies — just the artist, the studio, and the work.
